About the Author

Lynn Fairweather is an abuse survivor specializing in domestic violence response and prevention for over 25 years. She operates Presage Consulting and Training, a threat assessment and management firm specializing in domestic violence.  Lynn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She travels the country providing focused, unique training and consulting services for law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, and private employers. Lynn has worked in various areas of domestic violence, including shelters, law enforcement units, courts, and transitional housing programs. She has served on several successful interpersonal violence task forces and response teams and facilitated victim support groups and batterer’s intervention programs. Lynn strongly advocates for victims’ rights and coordinated community response systems.  Locally, she supports and donates her time to area victim services organizations. She lives on the West Coast with her husband and children, where she enjoys hiking, cooking, and horseback riding. Stop Signs is Lynn’s first book.
